About Us
Katie is the founder and owner of Stellar Premier Staffing. She is a mother of 3 wonderful children, a son and two daughters, and because of this she understands the importance of providing excellent care for newborns and their families.
She has been in the caregiver field for over 30 years, and has worked with multiples, special needs, preemies, high profile families, and high net worth families. She's traveled domestically and internationally with families, providing them with the highest quality of care.

She's never considered this line of work a "job," because she's passionate about taking care of children and loves what she does. ​

In addition to having a lot of experience, she continuously educates herself with the latest information and is always up-to-date on what's new in the childcare field.
In 2008, Katie became a Certified Newborn Care Specialist after spending many years working with newborns. To date she has worked with over 90 sets of twins and 9 sets of triplets and quadruplets. Katie also started the first ever training company for Newborn Care Specialists called Multiple Blessings. Although she no longer teaches, many NCS still come to her for mentorship.
In 2015, after over 15 years of helping families find a nanny or NCS, she decided to open a nationwide household staffing agency, and that's when Stellar Premier Staffing was born.
What sets Stellar Premier Staffing a part from other agencies is that Katie invests her time into really getting to know your family and the needs of your household to find you household staff that is the best fit to ensure a long lasting relationship.
She's there for you during the whole process, from sign up, intake forms, candidate interviewing, selecting a candidate and negotiating a contract to being there to guide you the whole time the candidate is with your family.

Meet Tara Singh , our Chief Operating Officer. She is a highly experienced Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Postpartum Doula with more than 18 years in the caregiving field.
As a mother to a daughter currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Engineering, Tara brings both personal and professional expertise to the families she supports. Holding a BS in Psychology, Tara has a strong foundation for understanding and navigating diverse family dynamics with compassion and clarity.
She remains dedicated to staying current with the latest research and best practices, ensuring parents receive evidence-based guidance.

Over the years, she has cared for preemies, children with special needs, and high-net-worth families—always customizing her approach to meet the unique needs of each household.
Known by many as a “baby whisperer,” Tara is praised for her calm, reassuring presence and thoughtful guidance. She specializes in helping families navigate the early weeks of parenthood with confidence and ease. Her expertise includes newborn care, sleep consulting, postpartum nutrition, lactation education, and parenting strategies.
Beyond her professional work, Tara enjoys experimenting with new recipes, attending live concerts, and spending time in nature.
